Abramax® Cr – wear-resistant steel for Lindner Urraco knives

It is available in two quality variants:

• Abramax® 420 Cr – hardness ≈ 400 HBW, yield strength 1,000 MPa, elongation 12% and impact strength at –200 °C approx. 40 J.
• Abramax® 520 Cr – hardness ≈ 500 HBW, yield strength 1,200 MPa, elongation 12%, impact strength at –200 °C approx. 45 J.

These steels are available in thicknesses from 4 to 80 mm and in sheet dimensions of 2,000 × 6,000 mm. They are characterized by excellent properties in cold forming, machining and welding, while maintaining a stable microstructure even during bending and heat treatment.
