Case study: From Slovakia to Kazakhstan: EUROTOOLS Supports International Recycling Operations
This case study demonstrates how EUROTOOLS coordinates international shipments of TANA spare parts to customers in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, including export documentation, customs clearance and road transportation.
SITUATION | A Returning Customer Needs TANA Shark Spare Parts
An established EUROTOOLS customer operating in Kazakhstan contacted our team with a new enquiry for replacement parts for a TANA Shark 440D industrial shredder.
The customer required standard wear parts to support the maintenance of their recycling equipment.
Following the enquiry and order confirmation, EUROTOOLS prepared the following components from its existing warehouse stock:
- Rotor hammers, dimensions 115x70x65 mm.
- Rotor knife brackets, compatible with TANA Shark equipment.
The total shipment weight was approximately 1,101 kg.
Before dispatch, the customer requested photographs of the components, allowing them to review the supplied parts.

CHALLENGE | Exporting Industrial Spare Parts Outside the EU
While the components were available from stock, arranging transportation from Slovakia to Almaty, Kazakhstan, required additional coordination.
The shipment involved international road freight, export customs clearance and documentation for delivery outside the European Union.
The agreed delivery conditions were DAP Almaty, Incoterms® 2020.
Several requirements had to be addressed, including export customs declarations, confirmation of IPPC-compliant wooden packaging, dangerous goods declarations and contractual documentation concerning applicable EU export restrictions.
Transport coordination also required confirmation of loading arrangements, vehicle identification and shipment tracking.
SOLUTION | Coordinated Export and Road Freight
EUROTOOLS processed the customer's order, verified stock availability and prepared the components for shipment.
Our team coordinated the necessary commercial and export documentation with the customer, customs declarant and logistics provider.
For transportation, EUROTOOLS selected NX Cargo-Partner Slovakia, s.r.o.
On 8 October 2026, the logistics provider confirmed the transport order for a ROAD-LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipment to Almaty.
The transport booking covered two handling units with a total declared weight of 1,101 kg.
EUROTOOLS also coordinated documentation relating to customs clearance, packaging compliance, non-dangerous goods and contractual export restrictions.
RESULT | International Shipment to Kazakhstan
The project resulted in the preparation of rotor hammers and rotor knife brackets for TANA Shark shredders from EUROTOOLS warehouse stock, together with confirmed international road transport arrangements.
By coordinating product availability, export documentation and transportation through a single supplier, EUROTOOLS provided the customer with a comprehensive spare parts supply solution.
Final delivery confirmation from the customer is currently pending.
KEY TAKEAWAY | More Than Spare Parts
Supplying industrial spare parts internationally requires more than product availability. Accurate export documentation, customs coordination and reliable transportation arrangements are essential, particularly when delivering outside the European Union.
