Shipment of TANA® parts from Slovakia to France
The shipment included Rotor Hammers 115×70×65, Rotor Knife Brackets and M24x145 Bolt for TANA ® Shark, essential wear parts in the waste processing and granulating process.
The Rotor Hammer is a core wear part mounted on the rotor shaft of the TANA® Shark slow-speed shredders. Its robust, block-shaped design allows it to withstand extreme impact forces while breaking down bulky waste materials such as:
-
Construction and demolition waste
-
Mixed municipal solid waste
-
Rubber and tires
-
Industrial plastics and wood
These hammers play a primary role in the granulating process, delivering the initial impact force needed to reduce large waste pieces into smaller, more manageable fragments. Once the hammer initiates the fracture, further cutting and shearing is completed by the rotor knives and stator knives. Eurotools Rotor Hammers are manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, ensuring durability, wear resistance, and perfect fit in the TANA® rotor drum system.
Equally vital is the Rotor Knife Bracket, which secures the rotor knives in place. These brackets act as both a structural support and positioning element for the cutting knives, which are responsible for shearing the waste once it has been impacted and cracked by the rotor hammer.
Without a reliable bracket system:
-
Rotor knives may loosen or misalign
-
Cutting precision drops
-
Wear increases unevenly
-
Machine vibrations and safety risks rise
Eurotools' brackets are precision-machined and surface-treated to resist corrosion and friction—ensuring consistent knife positioning and long-term operation even in harsh conditions.
In industrial shredders like the TANA® Shark, waste processing follows this sequence:
-
Rotor hammers impact and fragment bulk material
-
Rotor knives, held by knife brackets, shear the broken pieces to target size
-
Screen baskets underneath regulate output granule size
This multi-stage approach ensures optimal size reduction, high throughput, and the quality of granulate needed for further processing or recycling (e.g. RDF, biomass, or regranulation).

This marks another step in Eurotools' growing export capacity, reinforcing our mission to deliver high-quality, OEM-compatible parts across Europe with precision and reliability.
